For me it's not glasses in general. I mean, I wear glasses myself! I just don't like his glasses.
I love them! Love the nose piece part, especially.

I'm not saying there aren't problems with the show, but I thought I remember a secret service person on the elevator and then others in the hallway. This is the LAST REMAINING leader of the US and he's strolling off the elevator alone.

I don't think this is a realistic show, but decent (not great) entertainment so far.
I went back because this was one of the (smaller) things that bugged me and you're right there was one on the elevator- it was when he and his wife were outside on the portico and there wasn't an agent or marine in sight. Then at the very end he's lone in a hall that doesn't look like the residence (but it could have been).
I just watched the latest episode, and am still loving it! I don't expect perfect details. To me, it's really about the characters' moral struggles with their new responsibilities.
The Secret Service actually does not go up to the residence. In the first episode, there was a moment where he walked out of the bedroom and there was an agent standing there. Um, no. The Secret Service stay out of there.

Oh, gee, not January, but we have to wait until all the way to March?![]()
