Desert Inn & Suites - when do dates open?

I emailed them yesterday and today they have opened the rest of May.

Now does any one know the difference between the Deluxe Room and the Deluxe S room?

I have been looking at Desert Inn & Suites for a couple weeks to book for 5/15 - 5/17, 2016. Well 5/15 has had pricing since last week but 5/16 has not opened up yet. When do they open up the dates?

I am not a HUGE fan of this hotel (hate the beds) but for the price, you can't beat it.

They usually open up dates 10-11 months in advance. They way they've only opened 1/2 of May is really unusual, they usually open an entire month at once. Hopefully the rates will be good when they open up. I was planning on staying at DI&S for my trip next March, but the rates were waaaay more than I usually pay there. I decided to go with adjoining rooms at Tropicana this time.

The first time we stayed, we had horrible beds! So bad, I had a hard time sleeping. That was in November and it was towards the front of the hotel. We stayed again in February and got a room in the back of the hotel and the bed was fantastic! No complaints whatsoever. I know they didn't renovate at all in between and maybe it's just random, but it was a world of difference.

When the calendar hadn't opened soon enough for a trip I was planning I called them. They had to do something and it opened the schedule for reservations.
You might give them a call and see what they say.

I wondered that too. So I called and asked. They said it had to do with a change in their computer system. That the rooms were the same.
You could call to see if they tell you the same thing....

I asked them the same question a few months ago and got the same answer, they are the exact same room.
