desert at akershus

We will be celebrating DD's 6th birthday at Akershus. Lunch. We have celebrated a few previous bDays at CRT and she loves the crown desert. I know there is no special desert @ akershus, but want to know if there is a desert (like the slipper I saw on antoher thread) or something else princessie, but inexpensive $30 or less) that I can order for her at the resturant.

The lunch at Akerhaus is a buffet, and you help yourself to the cold and hot selections. Then when your table is ready, they bring out a dessert plate for the table to share. It looks nice, so you could just ask for a candle or sparkler to be put in this or I'm sure if you called ahead, you could have a cake there.

I'm not really looking for a cake so muach as a themed desert, Like the slipper I have seen on some threads. I believe it is at the GF. How can I find out what deserts are available at each resturant. Some threads say "only available at".

DD Loves the food network and we often watch the Challenges before bedtime - especially the DISNEY ones which we have recorded. A cake is nice and she will love the deserts offered, but i wanted something more along the lines of the crown, slipper, a chocolate mickey etc.

What I plan on doing for my daughter is ordering her one of those "mini surprise" princess cakes...it's a little pink chest with a cake inside and it comes with a mirror. If you go the disney site and search for mini surprise cake you'll find it. There is a pirate one and a princess one, and I think they are like $15. And you get to keep the little pink box and mirror and souvenirs. I don't think it's a super gourmet cake or anything, but it looks cool (and my DD is 2, so most of it will get smeared all over anyway! )
