I think that you should try country, Mitsu. Most of it isn't that twangy anymore. It's like the offspring of pop and 60s country. I'm with you on rap though. I like to understand the words.

What is Industrial music? I've never heard of it before.

Its a style influenced by Eletronic music and has an industrial (noise I guess haha) and very futuristic style I guess. Alot of time the musicians create the drums with common everyday things (Angelspit once did it with a Garden Gate haha).

Brooks and Dunn have made some of my favourite stuff. XD I really like their current single, Cowgirls Don't Cry, featuring Reba. I doubt greatly that you'd like it though. It's traditional twangy country.

I like Decode by Paramore. I haven't heard enough of their music to decide on whether I like the group or not. Boys Like Girls has a few songs that I like, like Hero/Heroine and The Great Escape.

I like a lot of music.
So I can't really name all the genres I like... so I'll list the ones I DON'T like.
I hate country, all of it, same with pop.
I don't like most rap or hip hop, but there's a few I do like.
I hate most new rock, but there's a few bands I like.


I listen to mostly classic rock, jazz, latin music, classical, psychedelic rock, polka, opera, trip hop, and blues.

Honestly, JB is the only like pop/rock band I listen to. And they've even gotten less poppy with their 3rd album, IMO. But I really love all their music of course.
I'm getting into Paramore, I think bands with female lead singers are really cool. Hayley's got a great voice. I'm not really sure what category they're in.
I love classic rock. I was raised on it. I looove the Beatles, The Who, and Queen, and no, I don't just know 2 songs of theirs. xP
Also, Jimmy Buffet. Yes, my family used to be boat people. xD Jimmy Buffet 24/7. xD I still love listening to him because it just brings back a lot of memories.
I love hearing female singers with really strong voices, like Christina Aguilera. Basically anyone who can sing and give me chills.
Into that mix, throw in Micheal Buble, some Linkin Park and Weezer and that's me. xD Soo random I know, but honestly there isn't really any music I don't like.

Well it's not as poppy as like SOS or anything.
I don't know, it just doesn't sound like pop to me. When I think of pop I just think of Britney Spears or something. xD I don't really know, I guess it seems like a pretty big genre.
