Derek is my son's favorite baseball player. He is very talented and does make the game look easy and much like a game, not a tense career. He looks like he enjoys playing.

He is truly an amazing baseball player and from all I have followed about him a really great human being. He is my favorite Yankee and DH is very good natured about it because he has been told if Derek ever stops by I'm out of here!

Well, this may sound crazy but I remember when my oldest son was in Little League one of the moms read something that said that chewing gum while doing a task actually improved concentration. So, every game that season, one of us moms was in charge of the bubble gum distribution for our team. They won the championship that year!!! Could be that there's a method to Derek's madness

The other funny one is Giambi. Whenever he runs the bases, he sticks out his tongue!
