Departure Day

This may be a little pessimistic as we don't arrive for another 110 days but I'm looking at my plan.
Our flight home isn't until 7.55pm and we're travelling ME I'm guessing that we won't be picked up until 3pm at the earliest.
We're staying at POR so will need to check out by 11 but that leaves a few hours to do something and we'll be ok to leave our cases with bell services.


So what do you do on departure day?

My best advice is to keep busy! On our departure day I decided we should have a late breakfast and chill. Well turns on just sitting around thinking about leaving is depressing! Next time I'm going to plan a half park day, or go shopping at Disney springs.

I was thinking about Disney Springs for a last mooch around as it's on the doorstep.

We're a bit different as hiring a car but we always do the Disney Springs Virgin luggage check in then head to Magic Kingdom where we have lunch at Crystal palace, do our 3 fast pass rides then head to the airport on a high. Our flight is a good hour earlier this year so that cuts our time down a bit but for the sake of several hundred pound more for the later flight we're sucking it up!!
Maybe you could book a nice lunch at a nearby resort and do a bit of resort hoping on the monorail x

We've never done that but what a great idea! Then you arrive and no luggage to check in? Just mentioned it to hubs though and he said he would feel too sweaty and be in need of a shower and he'd rather do our normal pattern of hanging round the pool then getting cleaned up and heading to the mall for a meal in the A/C ........I will keep working on him!

Tell him that because you're eating lunch inside and your rides are fast passed there's no hanging around getting sweaty . We also take a spare set of clothes in the hand luggage to change into at the airport so feel refreshed
