Departure 10am from MCO or 12:40pm from TPA

I have choice of a Sunday departure either 10am from Orlando airport or 12:40pm from Tampa airport with the Orlando departure 15% cheaper, which would you do if rental car return/cost is not a factor? We will be in one of the theme parks the night prior .

TPA is 50 mins more driving, of course with more uncertainty. We use points to redeem, it was 2000 points less if we depart from MCO.

Anybody has any thoughts? thanks,

You will not have time to do anything that morning in either case so I would just take the earlier one and save time and money (points).

I would leave from MCO - you are having to depart the resort at the same time for either flight due to the drive time to Tampa

No offense meant but this is a no-brainer to me. Why are you trying to fly out of Tampa? I'm not seeing the reasoning. MCO is closer and cheaper, win-win.
