departing ME times flexible?

we extended our trip by a day, but we are staying off site last night. we would like to spend some time at dtd then take ME to airport to catch a shuttle to hotel. would we be able to take a later ME than what we would originally be scheduled for?

You could call DME and tell them your plans have changed, and ask for a later p/u time. They should be able to accommodate that request.

If you are staying off site - off of Disney hotels - I don't believe you are eligible for DME transportation on that day

I believe you have to stay on property that day/night to use ME. I arrived a day early (before midnight) and was unable to use it.

I think OP wants to take DME on the day they check out of their Disney hotel to the airport then shuttle over to the off site hotel for the added night. This would be perfectly fine and I second Goofy4tink's advice to call & ask for a later pickup time

I didn't really word this question right! we changed our flight from a Friday (checkout at ssr) to Saturday (staying off property fri night). we would like to spend some extra time at dtd on day of checkout. but original flight would have ME picking us up around 2:30ish. we would like to take ME a bit later than that back to airport. sorry for confusion, and thank you for your help!

It may help if you simply tell them you are taking a later flight out. Find one that has a late departure, and tell them that is your new flight number.
