I'm fine at the dentists i never worry about going
There was one time i worried because i was worried i might have to get braces(and go through the pain getting them) but i didn't need to in the end so i don't mind going there

ew. i just hate when you go in for cleanings...bleh...i'm like uhhh, my teeeth are already as clean as they can get leave them alone please!!! and then the sound of that scrapey thing....bleah.

I don't like it when they put there hands in your mouth with them gloves on but oh well atleast they don't hurt you

I don't mind them.
I've never had a cavity, I've never been scared.
I just HATE IT when the try to talk to you when they got their hands in your mouth. It's kind of hard to talk with your mouth wide open.

This is coming from a person who had a root canal at the age of 4.

I just went for a cleaning on Tuesday x_X I hate that stupid scraping tool! It sounds so pianful.. I wish the dentist would tell me what she's doing with it, it would put me more at rest instead of me thinking she's carving her initials in the back of my teeth or something lol

I'm ok with the whole going to the dentist thing, up until flouride time. I don't like flouride at all. But now at my dentist's office they have tv's in the rooms so while they're cleaning my teeth i get to watch tv!

I was blessed with fairly straight teeth. I was not however blessed with horribly strong teeth. I've had more dental work done than I care to remember, and I'm just fairly used to the dentist.

This is so funny that this thread came up b/c I went to the dentist yesterday and was thinking about posting a thread...

Anywho...I don't mind the dentist...cept that one time when they drilled my tooth WITHOUT NOVICANE! I was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!??! Apparently the cavity wasn't that bad tho...so they didn't need to? UGH, w/e! It just kinda hurts though, you know? If your hygenist is kinda rough with the scraping and especially the flossing! OWWW! But I'm not scared of it or anything...you just deal with 15-30 minutes of it...leave with a free toothbrush and floss, and then go home!

So, I'm back from the dentist and it's all good. EW. though...it was sooo nasty when they scraped my teeth i was like.........yuck.ew.stop.blah.

my dentist was like...

Okay, would you like: grape,orange,bubblegum,mint,chocolate mint, strawberry,marshmellow or cherry????? i was i don't care you pick. She was like...What??? you want ME to pick ??? like it was an honor to choose a flouride flavor..LOL

My dentists' office only has two flavors, bubblegum and mint. personally i go for the mint cause it tastes more like mouthwash then flouride, and the bubblegum one makes me gag.

we used to be forced to have bubble gum fluoride every wednesday. but it was only K-6 that did it. now we don't have to take it anymore (thank goodness)

I'm fine wih the dentist. It's annoying, yeah, but quite bearable. I don't like when they're all chatting amongst themselves like we, the patients, are inanimate.

Eh, but once... they had to do some drilling or something (weird - I have no fillings...), and they left a lower backmost tooth SHARP. Not the top of it. The sharp part was poking at my tongue.

I dont mind anymore. I got my first filling last year, and I didnt mind it one bit. So now, no more fear. Except for when I have to get my wisdom teeth removed. Eee
