Interesting. Never heard of it. I have an appointment next month, I'll ask. But really no point because if I was concerned I would just keep my regular glasses on. But I don't because when I have, they always get bumped and smudged by the Dentist working in mouth. I guess it could work if the safety glasses don't extend out from your face like regular glasses do.
EDIT: Apparently the CDC does recommend patients wear eye protection during dental procedures. I will have to consider that. Although I guess some the past 3 years have questioned CDC recommendations on other health issues.
SECOND EDIT: I just went to my Facebook page and first thing I see if a friend at the Dentist getting two crowns and he is wearing wrap around sunglasses!!!
