I went to the Dentist 2 weeks ago, and had my teeth cleaned/x-rayed/examined, yadda yadda...
Well, I have a cracked tooth for starters, ok, so I don't eat on that side till fixed.
But, ever since I went to the dentist, my gums have been very irritated around ONE tooth! So much so that it is swollen on both sides and BRIGHT red on the inside. I have been flossing the HECK out of it because it feels like something is stuck in there. Dentist told me to floss to toughen up my gums that are sensitive.
Ok, so what do I do about the irritation? Anyone have any suggestions?

and it didn't hurt BEFORE I went to the dentist... so I am thinking they stuck it with that sharp thing and maybe I just keep irritating it?
