Has anyone ever used A Smile 4 U dental?
I'm currently trying to figure out wether to switch dental insurance. The two I'm looking at are the same cost, but under Orthodontia one says
FIRST OPTION
Full Course treatment 50% no deductible
Lifetime Ortho Max, if applicable $1,000 per person
SECOND OPTION:
Full Course treament $500 copay, $0 start up fee
Lifetime Ortho Max, if appl. No maximum
am I confused in thinking the second one will only cost me $500 total for braces?????? And the first one says 50% but not over $1,000, does that mean if I get $5000 braces they only pay $1,000 of it......
the only downside I can see with the 2nd option is they do not cover sealants, but it says $0 copay for basic services like fillings whereas the 1`st option only pays 80%. The 2nd option also says 3 cleanings per calendar year v/ 2 with the other, and ful mouth xrays are allowed every 2 years on the 2nd option and every 5 years on the first....
I'm sucha dummy when it comes to this insurance stuff!
