IHOP.
We stopped going to Denny's after several annoying instances.......in the last one, ds ordered lemonade, and he made a face when he tried it and said there was no sugar in it. I tried it, and it was bad...........not unsweetened, like past its date/fermented. So we told them it was bad and could he have a Sprite instead. We were very nice. The server brought back his cup and left. DS tasted it and made the face again and said, they brought back that yucky lemonade. So I flagged down the server and again said, "We asked to switch him to Sprite because the lemonade is bad." She says, "We tested it and it was fine." Really with a very ugly attitude. I said, "It's not fine, I tasted it, he tasted it, and we would like a soda instead." She said, "Well, you'll have to pay for an extra drink then." We said, "Then we'll just pay for these drinks and eat elsewhere." We walked up to the front and paid for our drinks and left.
Ever since then, if we are looking for a place to eat and we see a Denny's, we say, "They TEST the lemonade there." We always wondered how exactly they tested it................
