Demographics - Curious about DISers

Young 20s. No kids, just out of college and starting my new job (which has been fabulous so far - this is a real "thinking" job, and my manager is amazing). Yummy BF. Good signing bonus this year means that my family is going to Disney in December - on me! Mom considers this to be a banner day in family history. We will be there Dec. 5-10.

Another "DINK" family here -- that's "Double Income No Kids" and we're also in our 20s :) DH and I both love WDW and went several times last year. Haven't been this year yet, though, and may not make it because of a house purchase. I actually hope we *don't* make it, beause that means we successfully got the house! :bounce: :p Though it would be really neat to be able to swing a brief mid-Dec trip after we're in the house....

aMEN!!

I am 46 with one 9yo boy, kicked his father to the curb 9 years ago! BTW, HE was 7 years younger than me!

I know, I'm supposed to be his GRANDMOTHER, but hey, we have a BALL together. We both like the same kinds of things, exCEPT he likes Spongebob and Rugrats and I DON'T... We both have a major fetish for all things Orlando, not just WDW. We're BIG Coaster fans, too and make the trip down at least 4 times a year. I enjoy being the breadwinner and the decision maker, since this is the first time in my life that I'm in charge! It's a true pleasure!

I also have three BEAUTIFUL kittens who are very much a part of our family, Aaliyah, Max and Xena. They are my babies also, so I couldn't leave them out!

DH and I both just turned 32. We have no kids yet and have been to WDW 4 times together (5 times in November). We have been to DL together once. I went to WDW once when I was 7, three times with friends and once with my sister before I met my DH. He went once when he was 9. We took a friend of ours in February and we all had a great time.

DH and I are both mid-20s with no kids yet. I have been a few more times than he has with my family or friends. So I've gone with immediate family as a kid as well as extended family. I've also gone with friends, with just my DH and I am about to do my first solo trip this December.

My dh, Stephen, is 41, and I will be the same in a couple of weeks. We have two dds, 21 and 19. We have taken the girls three times, and their fourth will be the first week of January. Stephen and have have been once w/o the girls and our second sans kids trips is in September. We married young, had kids young and now plan on WDW once or twice a yaer for, at least, the next 40 years.

I'm 27, DH is 25 and DD is 3. DH went to DL with his family in 94. DD and I have never been. Our very first family trip will be in Dec of 2003. Only 479 more days to go!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We're both 43 and we have 2 kids. DS is 16 and DD is 11.

I'm 42, my husband is 49 (Robinrs he has you beat !!!!!). 5 kids, 16, almost 14,10, 4 and 1. We have only been twice, the last being for 14 days (did it all, Disney, Universal, Sea World, Discovery Cove) this past Easter. We are thinking about going to Universal (I have the reservations) at Christmas.

I'm 46 (same as Robinr) my dh is 52. 2 dd-26 (27 on New years Eve, that is Bizzibee), dd - 25, ds- almost 22, 2 sil's and 2 dgrdds, 8 & 3 1/2. We went to Disney in 85 for our 10th anniversary with the 3 kids. Since then Bizzibee & I have gone several times by ourselves. Last year Bizzibee & I as well as my oldest dgrdd and my dh went to Disney and on the Cruise. This was my dh's 1st visit since 1985 and things had changed since then. Now he wants to go again because we didn't have enough time there.

I’m in my 30s, not married, and have no children. I’ve been to WDW 5 times with my mom, older sister, and a nephew. My next trip will probably be alone.

I am 27, DH is 31. No kids - just 2 hell hounds ;)

Wow - I'm amazed by the response! It's great to see such a wide variety of people both enjoying Disney and taking advantage of all the information that the DIS has to offer. Thanks everyone for responding!

I'm 44, DH is 42. Three DSs 18, 16 & 11. We have vacationed alot of different places over the years. Disney is one of our favorites! We bought at BCV in May, looking forward to our first trip home over Halloween.

DH and I are in our very early 30's. We have 2 kids, one girl and one boy. 7.5 and 6

The kids and I were at WDW for Easter and will be back for NYE. Woohoo!!! DH is a police officer and therefore doesn't get to travel as much. :(

I am 16 and I have been to WDW twice, both times with my family. (mom and dad, 44 and 45, and little sister, 8)

I go to DL A LOT with family and friends. My friends all have APs so that is where we hang out on the weekends, when we have time to have a social life.

DH is 29 (will be 30 in Oct.) I'm 30 and we have a 10 year old DS. We went to WDW with the help of the DIS for the first time in 1999 and then again 2000, 2001 and 2002....Our next trip is as you can see below in less than a month and we can't wait!:p

late 20's, single, no kids.
i go solo or with friends mostly, sometimes with family (no longer with parents, but with siblings and cousins).
I moved down here from southern LA/MS so I could be near WDW. :smooth:

Hi,
I'm 53 and have been to WDW three times. I didn't make my first trip there until I was 47!!!
I have no children. I go to WDW with a friend who is 55.
I seem to turn into a ten year old when I'm in the Magic Kingdom.
I also love going to Universal's Islands of Adventure. Just love those roller coasters and the theming there..

SO and I are early 20s we have no children. We used to live in central FL and have had APs forever. I have been to WDW more times than I can count. We have never stayed in a Disney resort however, which I would love to do the next time we make the trip down. We have never been to DL.
