Deluxe vs Portofino Suite

Here is my dilemma. I want to have a romantic get-away to the PBH with DH while DS is away at camp this summer. I can get a deluxe room for $292 which of course includes that great tub that everyone raves about. My Loews Platinum will get me a Portofino suite for $284 but that type of Suite, while much bigger, does not have the deluxe tub. Anyone with experience in both of these room types want to give me pros and cons? I have already inquired about the Villa Suite which would give me the suite with the great tub, but it will cost $795 per night!

I am platinum as well and sometimes when if I book a portofino suite, they will upgrade me to a villa or hospitality suite at check-in. If there are suites unoccupied they are always willing to upgrade platinum members.
