Deluxe Room at Disneyland Hotel?

What/where exactly is a Deluxe Room at the Disneyland Hotel?

We have booked a Deluxe Room for 3 nights at the Disneyland Hotel, and 3 nights in a 1 BR Villa at the Grand Californian.

I don't think Deluxe is Concierge - but what makes it different from just a regular room?

A little confused on that one!

When did you book? I ask because we booked a deluxe at the DLH back in March, which I ended up cancelling and rebooking because of the summer discounts (we're going in July). When I rebooked, it seemed that they changed the categories based soley on view, floor and concierge status. Upon talking to a CM, they said that the old way was done during refurbishment, and that deluxe meant a "new" room. Now that they are finished with the rooms, they don't need to distinguish anymore.

We booked a few months ago - so I wonder if any of that has changed?

I'll check our reservations again so see if anything has changed - thanks for the heads up!
