My first trip to Disney World was last year. My husband has been several times before and has always stayed at the Polynesian or the Contemporary. After really looking at the cost of our vacation (scheduled for 8/31 to 9/6) at the Polynesian, we are considering changing. A key factor in the whole thing is that my husband uses a wheelchair and requires a roll-in shower. Anyone have experiences with any of the moderate resorts (Caribbean, Coronado Springs, or PORiverside) after having been spoiled by a monorail/deluxe resort? I am all about saving money, but not at the chance of having to spend a ton more time on a bus or at a less "nice" sort. Thanks in advance!

Have fun at WDW wherever you chooseto stay!

I am sure you would enjoy POR or POFQ just as much. While it may not be the Poly, they are both nice hotels and you are still at Disney. :) I personally love POFQ. It is small, everything is close to everything else and the bus service is outstanding.

I am all about saving money, too. I have made that compromise before and was very happy.

Sorry, I do not know anything about the accessible rooms.

Let us know what you decide. :) Good Luck!!!
