There will be 4 adults
Want at least 2 'proper' beds

Can't decide:
Hotel room or dvc?
club level or not?

Current considerations:
Treehouse villas
AKL/villas
Gf/villas
Boardwalk/villas
Poly

Assistance please

DH & I stayed at AKL savannah view room in August for our anniversary. Loved it. So much to do Ibut there at the resort. We just relaxed there. Rooms have 2 queen beds.

I Second the PP and say go with AKL. for one night to stay make it a relaxing resort day in a Savannah view.

When you say Villas, you are looking to book a one bedroom villa? Will you be going to the parks at all? If so, I would book a 1 BR villa near the park I was interested in, but the 1BR villas do not give you 2 "beds", just one and the pull out couch. Did you mean a 2BR villa? (I ask because you mentioned the Treehouse at SS as an option?)

I would throw Wilderness Lodge Villas into the mix, too. 2 hotel rooms might be cheaper than a villa though.

If you are thinking about the DVC studio rooms, they don't have 2 regular beds. They have a queen and a pull out. The regular non DVC rooms have 2 queens, and GF, Poly, CR also have day beds. Most rooms at the Epcot resorts, but not all have day beds as well.

If its just for a night, I'd splurge on a GF club level room! Unless you get a 2BR villa, you won't get 2 actual beds at any of the Villas you mentioned. Boardwalk is also lovely and is great for walking around at night.

thanks for the replies so far.

Wouldn't consider pull down beds or sofas-if we are spending big bucks-we want actual beds.
I know some people are ok with pullouts -not for us!

Therefore either hotel room with 2 beds or 2 bed villa I guess would be the way forward.
I think 2 separate rooms would be less preferable; however we would consider.

Don't need to choose re park choices.
We will be having resort downtime and making the most of the facilities.
Will definitely utilise the fitness room & pool.

Does this assist in helping us choose at al?!

The Poly sounds perfect for you! There are many great restaurants there. You'll also have the monorail and boats for transportation. Hope you have a great trip! :)

Go for the Theme Park view room at CR - extraordinary views, spa, gym, all the water-sports right there (if you want to parasail or water-ski/tube)

One night prices may be a problem - don't know if this is common or not but our experience last week with resort pricing was interesting. We live in Ft Lauderdale, wanted to come up for a Tues/Wed last week - on-line the week before the room rate for TPV at CR was quoted as $999 for Tues night only - but $450/night for Monday/Tuesday (current Fl resident discount offer) - so Mon/Tues nights it was!

Old Key West has two real beds in a studio, although that was not on OP's list.
