Deluxe hotel low rate

We had AKL savanah view for $166 including taxes with either an AP or FL resident discount last year.

We bought annual passes (AP) to get a good discount on deluxes. We paid $109 + tax for a standard room at AKL during value season (November). Your best bet is to plan a trip during value season and either hope for an AP rate or hope that a discount code will be available for your travel time. Good luck.

I recently got a postcard rate of $109 at AKL, standard view.

Couple of years ago...we got the WL for $ 119, if memory serves correct.

Does anybody else remember when WL was that low?
It was during Jan-Feb 2001.

:scratchin

Oh, well, with these boards, mousesavers.com, codes, AP rates...
you'll get something good.

The trick is to be flexible with your travel dates.
Not a luxury for us anymore since DS is a teen in school sports, etc.

We got $149 plus tax at WL in 5/03. We've gotten $179 plus tax for the Yacht and Beach club.

In just 19 short days, we're checking into the Poly with an Annual Pass rate of $179 plus tax.

Not bad, huh?

Wow, Pam!

Yep!I remember that was an AP Poly room rate in Sept.
(Another Value season, like now)

That same room will be $250 AP rate for the PEAK Spring time!

Like I said...it's a matter of timing...flexible with those travel dates!

::yes::

189.55 including tax at the Poly over Christmas(12/24/03-12/29/03) with an AP rate.

$120 per night at the Poly (the mother of all discounts).

We had originally booked CBR, then Disney decided to close it for renovations, pushing all it's guest to the Poly or WL for a comparable rate!

Feb 2002 $149 + Tax a night at the Contemporary. It was an AP rate during value season.

I have been toying with the idea of staying at the Poly in May. What kind of rates have people gotten for the month of May?

Thanks in advance,
VelvetGloves

Lucky Postcard recipient... was quoted rates of $109 AKL and WL... $149 BC & Poly No availability as of yet at Contemp or Boardwalk Only Honeymoon room available at the Floridian.. which actually was only about 1400 for 5 nights... too bad I am not getting married!! LOL! LOL!! I took WL for now.. but keep checking for those last minute cancellations etc... We are going 1/31 - 2/4 ... :)

Kathy

3/04 Y & B Code - $265.00
1/03 Swan Gov't rate - $129.00
1/02 BWI Code - $179.00

Got a post card for AKL @ $109 or $119 when they first opened but we weren't able to use it

a couple of years ago we used a discount code for wilderness lodge courtyard view for $164.

recently got a postcard code and we are using it for a savannah view room at animal kingdom lodge for $154.

very happy with those prices.

$109 AP rate for standard view at WL during August 2003. Much to my astonishment, we received a complimentary upgrade to a view of the pool, geyser and Bay Lake. Even without the upgrade it was still a great deal. DH is challenging me to beat that this August but that is an unfair expectation!!

A related question that I'm sure has been asked a billion times: are the rates quoted on these "postcards" transferable. Meaning, could I get the postcard rate without receiving the postcard myself?

There is a unique PIN number on the post card which is linked to the name of the addressee on the card. Having said that, I am sure someone will post that they got around it somehow!

We got the Wilderness Lodge in January '03 for $119 per night, Polynesian in January '00 for $164 per night.

And then there is the great government discout at the Swan and Dolphin resorts!

Our best deluxe rates before taxes are:

$95 CR wing room(via SOG)-May 03
$119 AK standard (upgraded to Savannah :D ) Nov 03
