Deluxe Extra Nighttime Hours

Any rumors on if this will be extended (thru the entire 50th celebration) or expanded (to DHS/AK)? Headed down next September and would love to take advantage of this as it sounds so much better than the previous evening EMH in recent years.
I don’t think there’s any way to know. Even if Disney has plans now, many things can change between now and next September. pixiedust: that it works out well for you!

Ha, I know - it was more a question of hope than anything else. Hoping it at least goes through the entire 50th celebration. Even better would basically be if it basically takes the place of EMH in the long term.

I noticed people stating the booths aren't open, does anyone have a list of the rest./bars that are? I was hoping to get into R&C for one final late night drink to close out my bday trip. If not I guess I will finally get to try jellyrolls
Pretty much nothing. One group was asking what’s open and a CM said 2 places. One was popcorn and I forget the other place. Slim Pickens.

Just got back and I will note the after Harmonious Epcot pretty much shuts down. I had a BG for Remy, called at 9:07 and figured we could wait until after Harmonious well by 10:04 it was no longer taking people, which was fine we had already been on day before. R&C is open which is our fav so we grabbed beers and strolled through a deserted WS. We didn't feel like riding any rides so not sure how that was after hours.

Planning this for MK in December with DVC.
Thinking about trying this for Epcot in June with DVC if Dec trip goes well.

So basically, at least at EPCOT it's a worthless perk for the Deluxe Hotel people.

Last time I did EMH at Epcot it was much the same.... in the end it was mostly about the main rides being open and a few shops.

But yeah it was mostly worthless as EMH tended to be way overcrowded in the past. Had hoped that this was going to be a more widespread perk...

If Ratatoiulle were included it would be totally worth it. That's really the only ride they need to add yet they aren't adding it.

They scanned our magic bands. I saw one person try to scan a card that looked like a room card but got denied. It was right at the beginning so I think they were trying to sneak in.

How does this work if your swan/dolphin reservation is not linked to your magic band or you do not have magic bands?

Not extended hours, but when I stayed at a DS hotel I used my AP card for early entry since I didn’t have a MB with me. A plastic ticket card would work as well if the reservation is linked. Evening hours would likely work the same.

When we stayed at Swan and Dolphin, we had a package through Costco. It was hard to get the reservation ID. Call the front desk at the Swan and get the reservation ID and link it on my Disney Experience. Back then it took us 10 days.

I don’t know how anyone is doing Disney without a phone right now. Hopefully someone else can answer the card question.

But do they run to resorts that are not eligible to be there for these new extra hours?? Such as POP where the OP will be staying that night.

Buses will run per the hours for that resort, as I understand it. If MK closes at 8pm and it is deluxe guest hours from 9-11pm. Then buses to those resorts not permitted would stop running X amount of hours after park closes. With us we will have deluxe privelges til midnight on a Wednesday. Wednesday night we are staying at Coronado Springs. We do not expect the bus to there to be running. We will catch a bus/monorail to a resort closest to CR and then uber/lyft from there.

Hi.
Although I attended both the MK and Epcot extra hours last month, I do not remember when they were and I am going January 1-8 and staying at OKW. Can someone please let me know so I can plan.

Thank you so much!

I watched an Allears video filmed at Epcot for the extended hours and although few places were open during the "event" there were some. The bar at the Regal Eagle BBQ place was open, the Rose and Crown Pub (drinks only) was open as well. If you wanted food Hacienda San Angel had a window open and there were a few carts here and there with popcorn and other snacks.

For the foreseeable future it appears the Monday evenings extended hours will be at Epcot and Wednesdays will be for MK.
