Deluxe Extra Nighttime Hours

Are you able to enter the parks after official closing time on these nights? Trying to figure out if we'll have time to watch Enchantment at MK and then hop over to Epcot for the evening hours.

Not really a perk when Remy goes down again and it pushes everyone to Frozen, you might have saved 10 min on the other rides as wait times have not been bad on them anyway, not much of a "perk" yesterday

Agree with previous post. We were also in the crowd at Remy as cast members said “do not form a line this isn’t coming back up soon”. That was the icing on the cake of a very disappointing day. During after hours we rode the Mexico ride, Test Track and Spaceship Earth.

agreed. Test track was 10 min which was nice but our only other must do was Remy 😢

We are trying to pick our park days, but the hours for our trip aren't posted yet. It looks like they aren't posting them very far in advance. Is there any sort of pattern to the Extended Hours? Should we take this into consideration when picking our parks at all- if we aren't going to use them, is it better to avoid that park, or has it not seemed to make a difference?

The pattern to the deluxe evening hours has been Epcot on Mondays and MK on Wednesdays, with a couple of weeks when MK is scheduled to be on a different night. And the eligible population of guests is so small that it hasn't seemed to make any difference in park attendance during regular hours, so I wouldn't let that affect my plans (other than ensuring I have a hopper ticket if I'm planning to go to another park that day).

This seems to be a permanent change, correct? We have Animal Kingdom Lodge booked early May and would like to take advantage of this, at least on the MK night.

I think early entry is permanent, but the extra deluxe evening hours were billed as part of the 50th celebration? But for this May you'll have them.

The extra hours were great last night.
Agreed! I was apprehensive after Mondays flop (Remy was down the whole night) but we got a ton done last night:
BTMRR walk on twice (technically the first was just before 8, got off at 7:59, ran around and got right back on and saw the fireworks while riding….totally recommend this!)
7DMT (this took the longest at about 30min start to finish)
Haunted Mansion (walk on, didn’t stop walking until in the stretching room)
Buzz (walk on)
Pirates (about 15, they were running every other boat empty for some ridiculous reason)

By 9:45 we’d done all we wanted to and were tired (between the coasters we had to spend time finding dh who didn’t ride, wasted some time doing that). Easily could have squeezed in a few more rides if we wanted to.

This is a great perk for deluxe guests, I really hope they keep it around

Did you guys see they changed it up? On april 13th Hollywood studios and not magic kingdom has the extended hours. We are going the week after so I’m wondering what’s going on. (Actually that Thursday we fly in).

I wonder if it has to do with that being the week leading up to Easter or if it's a more permanent change. Time will tell.

On 2/4 I plan to rope drop AK then hop to Epcot to drink around the world and watch Harmonious. Since MK has EEH and I'll be staying at OKW id like to stop by. I know it'd be a terribly long day and with the commute & fireworks id get an hour max out of MK.

On the site however it does state the below about park hopping hours. Can I park hop during EEH (9-11pm) or do I have to be there before park close which is 9pm? TIA!

Park Hopper® Option

We will set specific Park Hopper hours during which this option are available. Park Hopper hours will start at 2 PM each day and end at the park’s scheduled close time.
