Deluxe Evenings at Ep and MK

We did the deluxe extra evening hours this week for both Epcot and MK. At Epcot, watched Harmonious from Japan (very pretty and different, didn't love the music but overall liked it), slow walked counterclockwise to FEA which was a madhouse so we skipped. Then rode TT 10 min, MS walk on, Soarin 5 min. Disappointed Living w/the Land wasn’t open. Could have ridden any of those twice easily but the walk to get back in line is so long! Also, Epcot Future World is so dark and depressing at night with the construction. No ambiance, food closed, hard to get across etc.

Contrast with MK which was so lit up and pretty at night. Wait times were low. Everything walk on or 10 min wait at the most, even for SDMT. Would have ridden Space twice but feet were too tired to walk the line again. Had watched fireworks from behind the castle near Philharmagic and didnt like that location. Craning neck to see, swiveling to see those by castle, missed all the castle lights. There was room on Main St 40 min before but husband wasn’t willing to stand for that long.

Thanks for the review! I am especially looking forward to MK’s hours. Also, I am sad about no Figment or LWTL at Epcot also! It seems especially silly not to run LWTL because Soarin is open.

We also did the MK extended hours last week and thought it was really worth it. My niece and her family rode Mine train twice in a row around 10 as a walk-on. Low crowd, but still a fun atmosphere, not creepy quiet and dark. We did Buzz, Pooh, Mine Train x 2, Pan, and Space after watching the fireworks from the side of the hub near Tomorrow land. I will definitely do it again. We are planning a trip for May and decided to stay deluxe again instead of Destino Tower, so we can do the extended hours.
