Deluxe Dinning Plan Question

I apologize if this has been already asked. My family and I will be on the Deluxe Dinning Plan for 8 days this summer. I know the cards issued state the number of people in you party. Can you use the additional credits for additional Adults dinners? Are my credits are locked to my family of 4, or can we use these credits on other people? For instance, if there are 4 people in my party can I use 6 credits on 1 night?

In your case you could only use four credits per night.

The Dining Plans (regular and deluxe) are considered non-transferable and Disney is pretty strict with this rule.
