Deluxe Dining plan.

I know this has been asked before , but I can not find a lot of info on the deluxe dining plan.

There are 4 of us and we eat 2-3 table services/day (usually 2) including several places that charge 2 table services for one meal. I am trying to find info out on whether the Deluxe would be good for us. I cant even find the price on the Deluxe dining plan . One of our party will not eat a lot but the rest of us will. I also have two glasses of wine with dinner only . Since I am usually 2 full for dessert I don't always have it.

When I use the basic plan I usually end up with quick service left over and paying for some table services.Would I be better off just paying or should I book the deluxe plan?

I have also heard of the Disney Dining car(the one that gives 20% off), is this a good option? Where can I find more info on it?

We like the DxDDP because you can dine anywhere and it includes appetizers. We usually take dessert to go. What we also love is the option for room service! Since room service is 2TS credits, if you're staying at a deluxe resort you can order room service from one of their restaurants. Like at the GF you can have room service from Narcoossee's. Can't beat surf and turf in your PJs watching wishes from your balcony!!

It offers the most flexibility!

We do not like any of the plans but really love having the TIW (formerly DDE) card that is only available to annual passholders. It gives us 20% off all table service charges, including alcohol. It provides so much more flexibility as we are not dessert eaters, want to split an appetizer, and we hate counter service for the most part. We have done the Deluxe plan twice and the regular plan once and just find it's not for us so our last 4 trips have been plan free and much happier.

We did the Deluxe Dining plan in October, and we will be doing it again in January. To me, it's worth it to be able to eat where ever we want, even signature restaurants. Although there are definitely times when I don't eat anywhere near all the food, it's still nice to be able to eat where ever and whatever I want. For my DH, the best part of it is that it's all paid for and it's not something that we have to think about when figuring out our spending money. I didn't figure whether or not we saved money, but it was well worth it to us.
