We are doing a split stay, 1 night BCV, other nights BWV for Food and Wine this October. So here is my question. During F&W, we typically only do the Dining Plan if we are doing a split stay for part of the time, not the whole time because of all the great food choices at F&W. So would like to understand this. IF we choose to do Deluxe Dining Plan, am I correct that you can get 3 table service meals or combination thereof. So the first night we plan to Yachstman, 2 table service credits. Then the next night, we might like to dine at Chef De France, 1 table service. I want to avoid the problem of the split stay nightmare of dining credits that we experienced two years ago
. I understand that we must use the dining credits from our BCV stay by midnight of the next day, EVEN THOUGH we have checked into BWV early afternoon, 2nd day. How can we prevent a problem with using 1 dining credit for dinner at Chef de France from our BCV stay? Has the dining plan "glitch" possibly been corrected when you have a split stay with any good luck?
I thought I remember hearing that at "worst case scenario" if the 1 dining leftover credit is not showing when we dine at Chef de France, to charge the meal to our room via the credit card on file, and the resort will take it off? MUCH THANKS
for any tips on using dining plan credits when you have already checked out of first resort of the split stay.
