We just booked a vacation at PO w/ deluxe dining. Can anyone tell me if the restaurants at Pleasure Island, like Fulton Crab House, will accept it? Or will we need to use 2 tickets like the shows (Spirit of Aloha).

Hopefully I asked this correctly...

First thing, there is no Pleasure Island anymore, I think you mean DownTown Disney and no Im pretty sure Fultons does not take the DDP

I think the only DTD TS restaurants that accepts the DDP are Cap'n Jacks, Planet Hollywood, Raglan Road & Wolfgang PuckCafe. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!) Wolfgang Puck Express, Cookes of Dublin, Foodquest (DisneyQuest) and Earl of Sandwich are DTD CS restaurants on the DDP.

This link is for the Deluxe Dining Plan for 2009 http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/m...fic/eng/nontheme/tickets/2009deluxeDining.pdf

It lists the restaurants that are currently included. They are hoping a few more restaurants are added to it for 2009 - but in Downtown Disney the list of those participating is generally pretty limited and Fulton's isn't part of the plan.

If you have the standard Deluxe Dining Plan - then Spirit of Aloha will take 2 TS credits (as will other signature/show experiences)

Hope this helps :goodvibes

And keep in mind you will not be receiving tickets or vouchers for your meals. You will have points linked into your KttW card.
So far from what I have seen there are only a few places to eat at DTD on the food plans for 2009. Getting late in the year, so hard to say if we will see more. :confused3
With a WDTC package guests also receive two Planet Hollywood vouchers -- one for $15 off a meal and for free souvie.
About all that is at PI is the large light up sign and a few alcohol kiosks. Oh -- and a Harley store, cigar shop and a surfing store. :sad1: :snooty:

I always want to tell everyone that takes Deluxe Dining to KNOW in advance that though the meals are wonderful, they do consume a lot of TIME as table service meals are generally 1 1/2 hours per meal. I think many people do not consider how much time it takes to a) get to your reservation and then b) eat and leave/get back to a park, etc.
If you are not big eaters or people that enjoy longer type meals it just MAY NOT be the best match for you and basic dining is also wonderful.
I happened to notice that you had a child, so just thought I would mention it. Take a look at the menus that they have posted, invaluable tool!
Whatever you choose, have a wonderful time!

I agree regarding the Deluxe Dining. Dh and I used it for ourselves on our adult only trip. It was wonderful but yes it took a lot of our time. But, it was what we wanted out of our trip. For the times when we go with the kiddos more than likely the regular old dining plan will be more than enough.

We did use some of our credits for the shows, like Hoop De Doo and the Fantasmic Package at Brown Derby. It was fun and entertaining for us! We used one of our credits at Ragland Road and I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere in the place. Really enjoyed it, and would go back. Even though dh picked this particular rest. I was worried from looking at the menu if I would find something I enjoyed. But I did and it was great adult like atmosphere.
