Deluxe dining or out of pocket???

We have a one night trip planned before our cruise in April. We have already got adrs for Citricos (dinner) and 1900 Park Faire (breakfast). I am trying to decide if doing the Delux Dining plan makes sense. Based on what I have calculated based on our likes we end up with 11 dollars after the two meals and still have the mug and 2 snacks to spend it on. Does it make sense to get the ddp for just one night?

I don't think you can get the DDP for just one night unless it is a DVC reservation so the question may be moot.

It is a DVC reservation. But I did t realize there were length of stay requirements in general.

yes I believe it is 2 nights. EXCEPT for DVC in which case it is 1 night.

Have you figured in the DVC dining discounts into the equation? I believe it is 10% off at Citricos, which might make up the difference.

I'm also DVC and have gotten the dining plan for just one night. We like the mugs and if it makes $ sense based on your ADRs, why not?

I would...once you add in the mugs, and snack credits, you will be over the 11.00 mark. We like the mugs and think that they are a great souvenir, you can use then on the cruise in room, then at home to keep the magic going... then you could spend the snack credit for something to take with you to munch on while waiting for DME to take you to the port, or as a snacks for excursions, room, or pool side.
