Thinking of getting a new Delta Faucet, the one you turn on with a touch, reviews are not great- does anyone have one? Love it? Hate it?

We saw a demo at the International Builders show. They look awesome, but I'd have some reservations.

They would not be a good idea if you have cats that wander around the counters.

Remember that it will come on at whatever temperature and water pressure the last person set it for. I'm always adjusting the water temperature and stream strength as I use the kitchen faucet so I like that control to be easy to access and use.

I would feel a bit nervous about leaving it set in its "on" position all the time. If you aren't going to do this, then what is the point of having it? I think it would be worse to go up to it expecting it to work and having it not dispense water because the last person that used it shut the water off manually.

Also keep in mind that some of the models require 2 holes in the countertop and not just one like so many other faucets.

We are getting new quartz installed on Monday (woo hoo) and bought a new faucet. We considered the Delta touch one but were worried about what happened when it failed. As we know, things don't last like they used to. So we bought this one http://www.costco.com/Browse/Produc...=5&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Nty=1&topnav=&s=1. With the handle like it is, we can just use a finger to turn it on. I'll update you on Monday how it works.

We just did our kitchen. I LOVE our new Delta Touch faucet. Always preparing food and my hands are sticky just touch with elbow and clean hands. We have had it for 6 months no problems.

I am so happy to hear you love your faucet. We just purchased this faucet for our new house. The house won't be ready for another 2 weeks so the faucet hasn't been installed yet.

Watch The Next Food Network Star, by chance?? My wife watches and they hype this no touck sink on the show and now she wants one!!!

I've had the delta no touch faucet for over 2 years and love it. I haven't had any issues with it. I think we've replaced the batteries once and that's the only maintenance we've done on it

I want one!!!:)

Well I'm gonna get one! (fingers crossed) hope it doesn't have issues!! Never know with these types of things! Hope I have luck like everyone who replied!! Thanks

Have had mine for a year and LOVE LOVE LOVE it......can't say enough about it. When I'm preparing chicken I just use my elbow or forearm to turn on the water. If I have flour on my hands from bread making....just tap it with whatever part of your arm (or your face LOL) that's clean and voila...water. I don't have a lot of traffic going through my kitchen, sometimes my husband will switch it to the different sprayer setting....or if we have company over sometimes they've cut it off completely using the handle. But really I'm the only person that does food prep so it pretty much stays on the same setting, same temp...etc.

It took some time getting used to it....but now I fear I'll get so used to it that I'll start tapping other faucets out of habit LOL

I read a lot of reviews before we purchased it and most of the negative ones I'd read were from an earlier model.....so I felt pretty good about buying it.
