Offer:
Participants must complete two (2) qualifying round-trips under a promotion to earn one award certificate. A maximum of two award certificates per passenger per promotion (between Boston and the qualifying California or Florida cities, AND, between New York and the qualifying California or Florida cities) may be earned, for a total of four (4) certificates per passenger.
Eligibility:
Participants must be a SkyMiles member with a SkyMiles account mailing address within the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. SkyMiles members must register for the applicable promotion on or before the departure date of the first qualifying flight under that promotion and no later than April 15, 2004.
Restrictions:
Tickets must be purchased on a round-trip basis for travel on or before April 15, 2004. Travel must be on any paid, published fare, excluding T class. Round-trip travel is defined as two one-way trips on flights between the designated cities, booked in a single reservation under one ticket number. To qualify, the round-trip must depart from and return to the same city or co-terminal. A maximum of one round-trip is permitted per reservation. Travel is only valid on flights operated by Delta, Delta Connection, or Song, Delta's new low fare service. Flights operated by, Delta Shuttle and Delta designated code share flights are excluded (flight numbers: 1740-1771, 1820-1851, 2179-2182, 2185-2188, 2193-2196, 2250-2279, 2600-3599, 5960-6119, 6550-9024, 9100-9134, 9240-9259).
Travel Period:
Participants must fly two eligible round-trips on flights marketed and operated by Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection or Song, Delta's new low fare service between New York (JFK, or La Guardia) and Florida (Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, Tampa or West Palm Beach) or California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Jose, or San Francisco) or fly two eligible round-trips on flights marketed and operated by Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection or Song, Delta's new low fare service between Boston and Florida (Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Miami, Orlando, Tampa or West Palm Beach) or California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Jose or San Francisco) between Jan 12, 2004 and April 15, 2004 to earn a round-trip award. A maximum of two (2) award certificates per promotion (between Boston and Florida or California or between New York and Florida or California) may be earned by each participant.
Miscellaneous:
To qualify for this promotion, travel must be eligible to earn SkyMiles, excluding T class. Award certificate will be mailed to the SkyMiles member's address on file four to six weeks after promotion ends.
Terms & Conditions of Award Ticket
Tickets:
Reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to departure. Award tickets must be issued 24 hours after the reservation is made and at least 14 days prior to departure. Award tickets must be issued by April 1, 2005. Award travel must be completed by April 15, 2005. Award travel must be round-trip. Stopovers, circle trips and open jaws are not allowed. Award travel may only be booked in E class. E class inventory is limited and seats may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Award tickets will not earn mileage credit. Award tickets are not upgradeable. All Delta SkyMiles program rules and conditions apply.
Transferability:
Award certificate is transferable but may not be bartered, sold, or purchased.
Travel Period:
Award travel is permitted between April 16, 2004 and April 15, 2005.
Blackout Dates:
Award travel is not permitted 5/28-5/31/04, 7/1-7/6/04, 9/3-9/7/04, 11/19-11/29/04, 12/17/04-1/5/05, 2/17/05-2/28/05, 3/18-4/4/05.
Fare Validity:
The award certificate is valid in the Economy (Coach) cabin. Award certificate is valid for travel on flights operated by Delta Air Lines, Delta Connection, Delta Shuttle or Song, Delta's new low fare service. Award travel tickets can only be booked through Delta Air Lines. Award travel is permitted within North America, or between North America and Europe, Central America, Latin America, South America, the Caribbean and Asia. Delta designated code share flights are excluded (Flight numbers 2600-3599, 5960-6119, 6550-9024).
Minimum/Maximum Stay:
Minimum stay: Saturday night. Maximum Stay: 30 days.
Cancellations/Refunds/Changes:
Any taxes, fees, charges and surcharges on award travel paid at the time of award ticket issuance will be refunded if the ticket is not used. Once a ticket is issued, the certificate will be forfeited. No changes can be made after the ticketed departure date for any portion of the ticket. Changes are permitted on/before the original ticketed flight date upon payment of a fee of $100/145 CAD ($25 for Song) provided the applicable inventory is available; otherwise the ticket will have no value.
Taxes/Fees:
Award tickets do not include a federal excise tax of $3.10, which will be imposed on each flight segment of the itinerary. Award tickets do not include a September 11th Security Fee of up to $10.00 round-trip, Passenger Facility Charge(s) of up to $18, U.S. or international arrival charges of $27.40, U.S., foreign user, inspection, security or other similarly based charges, fees or taxes of up to $250, depending on itinerary. For travel to/from Hawaii/Alaska, International Air Transportation tax of up to $13.80 round-trip applies. For travel to/from San Juan, PR/U.S. Virgin Islands, International air transportation tax of up to $27.40 round-trip applies. Canada taxes are not included and may fluctuate based on Banker's Selling Rate on the day the tickets are issued. These fees are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time of ticketing.
Award Certificate:
Only the original certificates will be honored. Certificate is void if reproduced, altered, counterfeited, bartered, purchased, auctioned, sold, obtained or used improperly, or where prohibited by law. Certificate has no value except when redeemed in accordance with all terms and conditions of this offer. Certificate is for new travel only. Certificate will be deemed fully used once tickets have been issued and will not be returned or replaced.
