I am planning on checking in for our flight on Saturday 2/25 from MHT to MCO at home 24 hours ahead of time and then using curbside bag check. I am going to print the boarding passes at home. My question is this . . . on the way home can I have my brother do on-line check-in for us back home on Delta.com and then have curbside check-in at MCO print our boarding passes? Having my brother do the on-line check-in for us is the only way I can figure out to check-in on-line because we aren't staying where there is a computer/printer and we aren't staying at a hotel so I can't ask the front desk to print the boarding passes for me. Has anybody done this specifically with Delta? Thanks!

Sure you can do that. If you have luggage to check unless you are worried about seats, etc. you don't need to check in online. Checking in online with luggage doesn't save you any time. But if you want to switch seats or get a seat assignment then online check in is good.

Someone with your information could check you in online with no problems.

Thank you safetymom! I was going to check in on-line on the way to MCO because we have such an early flight. The thing that had me concerned on the way home was on the last leg of our flight 3 out of 9 of us have lost our seat assignments due to many changes in flight times, etc. I just wanted to try to get a definite seat assignment for everyone in our party and try to move the seats together so the kids don't have to sit alone. Thanks for your help. :goodvibes

I would also try calling several days in advance and see if you can switch some seats around. As the preferred flyers get closer they may upgrade to first opening up some seats.
