Delta flights... Help needed

I am about to start planning our 5th trip to Disney. In the past we have always flown Virgin directly into Orlando. Due to the fact that one of my sons is now going to be spending his 2nd year of University at Western Carolina we are planning our next Disney trip to coincide with the end of his studies in May 2014. The only Airline I can find who flys into Ashville N C is Delta so I was thinking that if we flew Delta from the Uk I could get his return ticket to fly back via orlando so that we can travel back as a family. I can't see from the Delta website any direct flights into Orlando so can anyone give me any advise which is the best indirect route into Orlando with Delta and whether to book directly through the delta website. thanks.

I think their main hub is in Atlanta, this might be why you can't see flights directly into MCO.

delta has several hubs for flights coming in from europe..

their main hub is Atlanta, but they also have lots of flights that go into detroit and New york..

between the 3, my first choice would be Atlanta, then detroit (detroit is a very easy airport to navigate, but still my first choice would be atlanta, then detroit)....
(you should only use new york as a gateway, if you intend on visiting new york itself as well)...

when you search on flights, just put in your destinations - where you need to be - don't worry about what flights you see..
the delta site will figure it out for you..

so say you need to go from london to ashville to orlando to london...
just put that into the booking system (under multiple destination search), and the system will route you...

Thanks Beth. Atlanta would be good as its the nearest to Ashville. If we fly into Atlanta from the UK and Adam flys into Atlanta from Ashville hopefully we should then be able to fly into Orlando together.
