We have not traveled in the USA over 12 years. Is there curbside baggage check in for Delta?

We used the curbside check in at the end of September. It was so convenient. Our UBER driver dropped us off right there and the curbside check in agent came right over to help with our bags.

Yes there is but IMHO I don't understand the purpose of this service, there is a fee to use this service in addition to any airline checked bag fees. There is no fee to use the ticket counters provided by the airline inside the airport which is literally right behind the wall from curbside check-in.

At least when we used it last month, there was absolutely no line outside at the curbside check in, but there were lines inside. The agent actually came over and helped the uber driver get our bags out of the car and organized to check in. We saved a ton of time and it was easier for me not having 2 suitcases + carry ons + plus my Mom's wheelchair (which often ends up piled up with one of us pushing it). Worth the tip I gave!

I used Delta curbside check-in at MCO in August. I don't recall there being a fee. I did give them a tip, but that was my choice.

Like PP, I found that there was no line at curbside check-in, and there was a line inside.

I'm a big fan of curbside check-in. Even when there are other customers out there, it feels like everyone is ready to go. If you have to wait at the ticket counter, as you do in some airports if you have checked bags, you will be waiting with people who have ticketing issues.

There is no fee, however they should be tipped. Any time someone else can schlep my luggage, I'm all for it. I'll gladly tip.

Agree with others. No fee, but a tip ($2/bag I think) is generally going to be expected. The advantage would be skipping the line at the inside counter.
