I got a delta credit card, and I vaguely remember getting 1 free companion ticket a yr, but I cannot find anything online, or on my statement. Am I mis-remembering, or does anyone know info about this. Thanks!

Why not just call the number on the back of that credit card and ask?

That perk is listed as "each year when you renew your card." You don't get one the first year (the "no annual fee" year). So you can basically equate your $95 annual fee as the cost of your companion ticket.

Mine is a $99 companion ticket, so closer to $200 when you add in the fee. It's sent to you via mail after your annual renewal. And there are restrictions on it, it's only good on certain flights. I have been unable to use mine.

Yes, one free bag per person on all Delta flights, and that applies to your entire travel party (up to 9 people, I think?).

So, for example, if I buy three tix for my husband, my son, and me, as long as I've bought them all at the same time, we can each check a bag for free.

Flying at least once per year with three people already covers the baggage fees, since they are $25 each way--$150 a trip for 3 people, which is more than my annual fee!

i have yet to have my delta card for 1 year so i havent recieved the voucher yet. Does anybody know can you use pay for miles for some of the first fare adn use the $99 voucher for the 2nd ticket? Thanks!
