Delta concerns

My family is flying Delta in early May. I think things will be fine.

Delta's pilots, just like NW's, are not totally stupid. They have to know if they strike there won't be a job to come back to... I think that just like NW's pilots they won't strike.... Union Leadership however lives in some Fantasy World where the airlines are really making money so they come up with these great ideas....

Yes, the pilots are taking a hit, but a job is better then no job and the majority of them know this.

This is posturing for the membership and the public by leadership - it happens all the time. I have been involved in Labor negtiations and sometimes its hard not to laugh at the thretas hurled across the table.
