I wanted to ask if anyone knows if Delta has extra leg room seats - I have not used them in many years and have used Jet Blue but unfortunately Jet Blue does not have a departure time to fit my schedule - and I was thinking of using Delta again - also I was wondering if anyone has used Air Tran - thanks for any comments.

This should be moved over to the Transportation Board.

The only extra leg room seats Delta has is first class and exit row. AirTran has a business class.

AirTran does have the Business class and you can purchase exit row seats for extra leg room for $20.00

1) Coach always have seats with a pitch of 31" or 32".
2) Although not popular, the tiny commuter jets sometimes have more leg room.
3) They actually average 32", where most big jets average 31".

NOTE: American used to have more leg room, but changed seats back. Changing seats for more leg room did not bring more business. Most people are not 6'0" or taller, and most people want cheaper seats, not more leg room. Of course, at 6'3", I prefer the leg room.

I'm going to move this to our transportation board for you.
