Delivery from restaurants

We don't necessarily want to cook a lot in our villa but we are thinking about saving money by ordering delivery from restaurants instead of eating at Disney restaurants. I have seen that Olive Garden does delivery, and of course there is pizza... does anyone else know other places that deliver? We have a big group

Have you hopped on Yelp to see what is available for delivery? Usually there are tons of restaurants in big cities and you can order right through the ap.

We have done Papa Johns (I know it's pizza and you asked for something else), it was inexpensive and very quick.

One thing to be cautious about - beware of any flyers you may see in the hall or slipped under your door. There are scam artists who use these as a way to get your credit card details when you order. Found one of these flyers underneath the door when I checked into my room at AKV in November 2015. I googled the supposed pizza business and guess what ... they didn't exist. Sorry, no order from me. I called the front desk to let them know and they asked what time the flyer showed up. All I could say was it was sometime after they cleaned the room and before I entered, since it was my first day. Hopefully they are able to catch the people doing this by their security camera footage.

Yup, a couple weeks ago they were still active, working at OKW. I noticed that there was no address given for the pizza place, just a phone number.

Our last trip, earlier this month they had fliers in the room warning guests about these scams.

We have ordered from Flipper's Pizza several times and highly recommend. They have several locations in Orlando and near Disney, and you can find their menu on the internet. Pizza, sandwiches, and pasta and pizza is great!

Their service is good too. As a matter of fact, we ordered the Thursday afternoon Hurricane Matthew blew in, and they assured us they would be able to deliver (this was early in the day) to the BWV. We just met the driver downstairs out front as usual.

I don't want to derail this thread, does anyone know if Flippers delivers to AKL or GF? I can't remember which one we were at and we wanted pizza but didn't think Flippers would deliver there.

We ordered from Pizza Hut once. I was surprised that the resort would not let the delivery man in to the actual room areas at Kidani Village. We had to go out to the lobby when he called.

The resorts have a list of restaurants that deliver to the resorts, you can get at the front desk or concierge.
