Deliveries from outside the park?

A friend is going to one of the value resorts for her birthday and I'd like to send flowers and a Harry and David type gift basket. I have three questions: Will these resorts accept deliveries? What address do I give the company I order from? How will the deliveries be handled at the resort?

Thanks for your help!

The resorts will absolutely accept outside deliveries. Make sure they have the name the reservation will be under and the date the party's check in date. If you tell them the resort name and that it is at WDW, any local florist will know where to take it. If you call a non-local florist to make arrangements, they might be confused. A local florist/company will do the delivery. They will need to deliver to the front desk at the resort. They will take the item from them and log it in. If the room has been assigned or the party has already checked in and they are not to busy, they will have a runner deliver the item to the guest's room. If the room hasn't been assigned or they are to busy, the will make a note on the reservation. It will be given to the guest upon check in or a message will be left for the guest to pick it up at the front desk. It varies. I make deliveries to the resorts all the time. It is not difficult.

They also have a Walt Disney World Florist that has flowers as well as gift baskets. It is very easy to order from http://www.disneyflorist.com/ for the gift baskets look under "our unique design". Ive used them and they do a nice job. :flower2: :daisy: :flower2:
