Delicious Bites, Halloween Frights & Character Delights. NEW PTR HAS BEGUN!

How fun!!! Although that that song at the end of Meet the Robinsons makes me cry. Stupid Rob Thomas and his sentimental songs!!! :rotfl2:

Good job on your flights. We got 89 one way and 99 the other way. Now it's up to $134 each way. I need it to go back down so I can switch to an earlier flight on Friday :headache:

Keep working on those sneakers. I'd say they need at least a month to be perfect for Disney

The Shake and Bake sandals sound cool! I love the travel sized aisle! It is so much fun to shop for vacation. I really like Meet the Robinsons. We saw it for the first time at the drive in theater. We watched it again not to long ago and I was reminded about the great message it has.

Oooh, Man! I've never seen 'Meet the Robinsons' :sad2: And did you actually write, "horrible honeymoon cruise" ??? Can you please expand? I didn't know there was such a thing!

Okay I really did type a post for your PTR.... strange ??!! I wonder if I posted it on your TR!?? Can't keep the two separate!!! I was going to say :yay: for the cheap airfare and :yay::yay: for getting to add an extra day!!!! Glad to know your new sandals are working out!! :thumbsup2

Let me know if you find my random post!!

I like the sound of your shake and bake sandals!!!

I hope the socks do the trick for you this trip!

I really need to see Meet the Robinsons!
Yes, I think your family would really like Meet the Robinsons.

I wore the shake and bake sandals most of the weekend and except for a little bit of irritation in between my toes on my right foot they feel great. I don't wear flip flops a whole lot so I think that will go away but bandaids will be brought.

Yep, I need to find my Meet the Robinson's DVD. You're the second person to mention that movie recently and I can barely remember what its about, but I want to see it again. :thumbsup2

When we were considering extending our trip a few extra days, we found the Tuesday return was much cheaper than a Sat/Sun thru Southwest. Made the decision much easier! ::yes::
It's a great movie, I find it a little sad that it is not more popular.

So glad to hear your sandals are working out for you!! I'm going to be ordering my pair as soon as I get home on Tuesday!!!

YAY for booking your flights!!! That is so fantastic!!! I'm very excited for you!!!
I'm excited too. I think once your flights are booked your trip feels "real".

What great deals on the flights! That is dirt! :yay:

Your plans of resort switching transportation look good - so nice of Jen to help you out! :goodvibes We used the Disney luggage transportation dealy and it took a LONG while to get our luggage...but if you are headed for a slow day at DTD, it won't matter!

I figure if we ever do a resort switch again, we'll take our bags in a taxi for ease and speed.
Yeah, we did it last September for our switch to WL and we just had to call and remind them to bring it up and less than 5 minutes later it was there. I plan to pack whatever I need in my backpack that day so I don't need to worry about it.

So happy for you for the flights, and the extra night, and the sandals, and the socks, and the list goes on and on!!!!

I have a funny feeling I know why there were no values in the beginning of the day, but there was an ASMO ROOM BY THE END?!?!?!?!?!?! YOU MUST HAVE GOTTEN MY ROOM!!!! I dropped it that morning when I switched to POP!!! How funny is that!!!! ;)
That must have been it! :rotfl:

I hope your shoe and sock wear do the trick! AND I love Meet the Robinson's. It's funny and quirky and so sweet.:goodvibes
It really is a sweet movie. I'm going to have to watch it again this week.

Gosh, I missed so much. My work week puts a cramp in my DISing. Three resorts! How exciting! You know I'm always for longer trips. :goodvibes

I promise I'll pop back in here and write more about your update later, but I just wanted to let you know I'm still here! :thumbsup2
Stupid work, how dare it get in the way of your DISing! ;)

Ooo! A night at All Star Movies? I can't wait to see the report. We'll be staying there in October and I'm looking foward to see how you like it.

I have to admit, I did enjoy Meet the Robinsons. It was really cute. After a string of Disney films that I didn't like all that much (Brother Bear, Home on the Range, Chicken Little), this one seemed like a glimmer of hope that Disney animation could be what it once was again.
I will be sure to take lots of pictures of ASMo for you.

I agree with you about Disney Animation. I did like Chicken Little but Meet the Robinsons was a very high quality picture in my mind. I still haven't seen Home on the Range, it's just never appealed to me. :confused3

Yes, it makes me cry too. Silly song. I hope your flight goes down so you can get an earlier flight! Where are you flying out of?

Glad the sandals and socks are working for you :thumbsup2:cool1:

Oh we love Meet the Robinsons :lovestruc
Thanks.

It does ahave a great message.

Oooh, Man! I've never seen 'Meet the Robinsons' :sad2: And did you actually write, "horrible honeymoon cruise" ??? Can you please expand? I didn't know there was such a thing!
Oh yes, I can expand. We did a cruise through Norwegian Cruiseline from Boston to Bermuda last year for our Honeymoon. Worst week EVER. It was awful. We both got sick because the seas were so rough, there was nothing to do on the ship, the food was horrible and we got horrible sunburns on the day we went to the beach. Our Disney trip last September made up for the awful honeymoon. The honeymoon was so bad that I was threatening to fly home from Bermuda instead of taking the stupid boat. :rotfl2:

Okay I really did type a post for your PTR.... strange ??!! I wonder if I posted it on your TR!?? Can't keep the two separate!!! I was going to say :yay: for the cheap airfare and :yay::yay: for getting to add an extra day!!!! Glad to know your new sandals are working out!! :thumbsup2

Hmmm...I wonder where it went.

I love Meet the Robinsons too. It is a great movie. I watched it all by myself one night recently so I have added it to Netflix so DD and DH can see it too.

Sounds like you may have some good shoe options for this trip! :yay:

Happy and I must be going nuts together b/c I could have sworn I posted too!

Your trip is shaping up so well. Ecstatic about the extra day and great airfare! It was meant to be!

Glad you are liking the shake and bake flips. I'm kind of "eh" on them. Think I may like the Teva mushies better. But the baking thing is really neat. I can see the imprints for my toes in them!

Very relieved that the socks and blister prevention experiments are working! :thumbsup2

Adding Meet the Robinsons to my very long list of Disney movies I have to see.

Shake and Bake sandals? I've never heard such a thing, intriguing!

GREAT fare from MA! My goodness! Our August flights ran close to $300 each on JB, thank goodness I had some serious credits with them! Under $200, that is fabulous!

And Meet The Robinsons, an unusual Disney flick. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. Fave part was the Dinosaur "I have a big head, and little arms". I used to say that all the time when the commercials were on, cracked me up!

Those shake and bake sandals sound so cool! I think they sound perfect for evening touring.

Glad the socks are working out! After your last trip I would be spending just as much time on blister prevention/care as you are now. You do not want a repeat!!

Meet the Robinsons is a lovely film-makes me weepy...DS loves it do especially Lewis or Louis...

I want some Shake and Bake sandals-sounds like a great science experiment...

BTW-LL-I know you love  the Brown Derby-I was curious if you ever did the Lunch with an Imagineer...(I know I shouldn't be doing this-but I'm already thinking to the next trip-and I can see DD liking that for her Birthday...:rolleyes1:.....)

Glad you like your shake and bakes!! :lmao: I am looking at a picture on my desk from DCL in 2007 and I had them on so I guess that is how long I have had them!! :rotfl: Have held up good! I have moved on to all kinds of Crocs and Chacos but will have to pull the Shakes out of retirement!

Tracy

Hmm, these shake and bake sandels are very intersting.....can you take a picture for us? LOL!!:confused3 Are they cooshy? Cute? I'm very intrigued and I laughed out loud when I read they were like a science project! Do they really form to your feet? Sorry for the 20 questions.....

Never have seen Meet The Robinsons, will put that on my list....now that I am a DM person, I can buy it!!;)

Weird about the disappearing posts!

I am so excited for this trip! I wish I could find Teva Mushies in my size. SIGH!

I'm flying out of Providence but still, it's great airfare, I checked today too and my return flight already went up so I'm glad I bought when I did.

It makes me weepy too. I really need to rewatch it now that I have been talking about it.

I have not done the lunch with an Imagineer but I have heard great things about it! I'd like too someday. :thumbsup2

Glad to hear that they are holding up over time!

I will try to get a picture up for you this weekend. I'm so behind on my DISing, I hate being so busy! They do form to your feet but not as much as I thought they would. It's very subtle. They are pretty cooshy. They aren't the cutest but I got black and think some of the other patterns might be a tad bit cuter. :thumbsup2

Guess what today is???

60 Days Until Disney!!!

Yayayayayayayaya!!!

 :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

I feel like I am so behind on my DISing, work and life have been in the way. Totally unfair. The plus size is that time is going by fast so Yay!

I've been meaning to post these lists and I keep forgetting. Bad LL.

For consistency sake, I am going to post all of the parks in this post even though I have already shared my MK list. I plan to do Resorts and MNSSHP Not Miss Lists in another post later this week and I'm working on a Food List too!

Magic Kingdom:
*Hall of Presidents.
*Haunted Mansion.
*Pirates of the Caribbean.
*Carousel of Progress.
*Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

I haven't done this in years and years, probably since I was 13. I want to take pictures from the Treehouse.
*Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
I braved this last trip and even though I was scared, it was fun. I want to go again!
*Peter Pan's Flight.
*It's A Small World.
*Winne the Pooh.
*Dumbo.

I have to ride this again. I want to ride both at night and during the day.
*Mickey's Philharmagic.
My favorite 3D Movie on property!
*Afternoon Parade
*Spectromagic if it is showing.
I don't think it will be, I am still holding out hope though.
*Aladdin's Magic Carpets.
*Blurry Dumbo Photo.

I will get this done! I will not miss trying again.

Epcot:

*Soarin'
*Manatees in The Seas
*Spaceship Earth
*Buy Mom more soap in France

She has been scouring the internet for this soap. Hehehe. I plan to stock up for her.
*Test Track
I didn't get to ride this in May and would like to fit in this trip.
*American Adventure
*Mulan

I've never met up with Mulan so I'm hoping to do that this trip.
*Meet as many Characters as possible.
I didn't do nearly 1/2 the meet and greets that I wanted to last trip and I want to make up for that this trip.

Hollywood Studios:
*Toy Story Mania
I hope to get in at least 3 rides on my DHS day.
*Great Movie Ride
I could ride this five times in one day and never get tired of it.
*American Idol
I watch AI off and on, I'm intrigued to see how they actually do this show.
*Voyage of the Little Mermaid
*One Man's Dream
*Backlot Tour

I didn't get to this in May either so I'd like to see it again if I have time.
*Character Greetings
I'd like to do some at the Animation Building and maybe the Toy Story characters at Pixar Place too.

Animal Kingdom:

*Expedition Everest
I will ride this! I'm trying to work my way up to Tower of Terror since Marc wants to go on it so badly with me.
*Finding Nemo: The Musical
I adore this show and I really want to take my camera this time and get some pics.
*Rafiki's Planet Watch
I really want to explore this area and use the restroom!
*It's Tough to be a Bug
I've seen this once back in 2003, I think it was and I'd like to see it again.

Animal Kingdom list is very short but I tend to be overwhelmed by this park so I think a short list will be beneficial to my park touring. Epcot is also a very small list because Epcot and me didn't get along so well in May.

I really want to do as many character greetings as I can and if that means some of the things on my lists get cut, I'm okay with that.

I'll post my MNSSHP, Resort and Food lists sometime soon. :thumbsup2

LL:

I am behind again. But soon I will have my TR done, so you will have my undivided attention. Actually, everyone's TRs will have my undivided attention. Wait...is that possible?

Anyway - I had the same issue when I booked my SWA flights. the Sunday flights are ridiculous, but there is always that late night Saturday flight that is cheap. As it turned out, I checked everyday until I got the Sunday flight I wanted.

Wow - 3 resorts. That's ambitious, but you will do fine because you are traveling solo. It's much easier to pack up and move yourself then it is to move with someone else. Plus - staying in 3 resorts means I get to see more of your fabulous pictures! :woohoo:

OOOH I love your lists!!!

I'm really looking forward to the Hall of Presidents!! I can't wait to see it after the refurb!!!!!!

I also am looking forward to TSM...I hope to ride it at least twice if not three times!!!

Great lists!!! I just love reading your lists!

You know how I love LL lists!!! :lovestruc

I think everything looks great! I think you will have a blast riding Everest -- if you can do Big Thunder, you can do Everest!

What is so great about WDW is that is something for everyone. My list would be almost completely different than yours and that's okay. It's cool to see how other people spend their time at WDW..

Nice job and the lists and well thought out:)
