Hi!

I'm not sure if this Orlando - Miami bus is of any use to you?

I have never used them before so cannot vouch for them. The only reason I know about this is because a couple of us are off to WDW to work this summer, and one of the members of the group posted this as many are thinking of travelling down to Miami for a couple of days after they finish the work program.

You could fly to key west in the florida keys - would be easy to get around as they have a little train and very walkable.

Anna maria island on the gulf coast is also small and more walking friendly - has a free trolley - not sure how to get there without a car though.
