Discovery Cove, lovely laid back day, followed by a special meal, restaurant would depend on your own tastes.

How about a ride in a hot air balloon. Not sure how much they cost but my Db and his wife thouroughly enjoyed it when they did it two years ago.

hi

when it was my dh 40th birthday i arranged a boat to view the fireworks at epcot, there were balloons on it and we requuested a cake and we brought champagne. we met up with friends visiting at the time at the yaght club where he thought we were going for a meal and then i led him to the dock where the boat was waiting. another thing we did for an anniversary was swim with the dolphins at dc and then as a suprise the dolphin presented me with a decorated buoy and then we were taken to a private area where champagne and chocolates were waiting and this was ours for the day.

A wishes birthday cruise, or else like me treat every day on hol as birthday we did Cirque as well (like u it was closed on my actual birthday), I emailed Cirque as we had bought the vouchers here u exchange for tix, the cm I dealt with arrange for great seats centre beside the control booth and when our tickets where scanned at theatre it said VIP seats not sure Y but it was great

I'm a big kid at heart so I had breakfast at Chef Mickeys and then in the evening chanpagne on the balcony at OKW followed by dinner at the Yachtsmans. I did do a day at Discovery Cove on the trip, just not on the actual birthday. A Wishes Cruise would be fun, especially if you got the swanky boat fom the Grand Floridian:cool1:

I did the Wishes Cruise for my 40th Birthday. It was a lovely way to celebrate. The boat was decorated with banners and balloons.
Only trouble is trying to top that for the other years ;)

Happy Planning.

Hi there,

I celebrated my 40th birthday in the evening with a lovely meal at the California Grill at the Contemporary. We booked for 40 mins prior to the start of the fireworks in the MK and the sever gave us a window table, there's also an outdoor viewing area. The meal was great, not that expensive and felt special.

Regards,

Its my 40th in October too!!!
I am planning breakfast at chief mickeys and dinner at CRT.I really wanted the castle cake but they dont do it at CRT so I will have the slipper dessert there .Myself DD8 and DD13 are having a makeover at BBB the day before then having dinner at 1900 park fare with the castle cake!
I too was hoping to go to the circus on the day but it is shut....on the 7th but we will go a couple of days before.
Hope you have fun what ever you decide.
