I never put down DC! We drove through a bad area and I was just pointing it out. The Mall area, and a lot of other areas, are obviously really nice NO DC-bashing, it's a place I've always wanted to visit, and I can assure you I'll do so soon

Eh, the house sounds not-so-great so far. We had such a fabulous experience with our rental home last year if you ever want a rec for the future. I'm on the edge of my seat, hoping your lodging situation gets better!

It looks beautiful, though! I'm so glad you're in Orlando now! Let the fun begin!!

The note said that there were a lot of snakes in the pool area, and they should fix the gate to prevent this. Oh no. Dad and I went outside to see what they were talking about, and there was a large gap between the bottom of the fence and the sidewalk.

OMG, I would have packed up the car and left. I am deathly affraid of snakes.

Too bad you had such a bad experience...the house looks really nice.

Wow!! I really hope your family gets your money back - I feel so bad for you all having to deal with that woman Luckily you got out of that place and into a much nicer (even tho smaller) home. I've been contemplating renting a home for our family but we all plan to fly and the kids loved staying on property on our one and only trip in '97.
