Is the LAX transportation from the rental car return back to the terminal still taking a long time? Thank you

I am interested in the answer, too. We have a one-way rental--picking up at LGB and dropping off at LAX. I was wondering if all the rental car companies have transitioned to the new Consolidated Rental Car place? Also, I was wondering if each rental car company is still providing their own transportation to the terminal since the train is not yet operational?

Is it the normal congestion around the terminal that is taking a long time or something else?

What do you consider "a long time"?
It took 45 minutes last time. That includes the time waiting for the bus. There was a long line, and we had to wait for more than one bus. Then the travel time to the terminal was long too due to traffic.

Were you coming from the consolidated rental car facility? (And everyone takes the same bus?) Which airline were you on?

Last time we did had a rental car, 3/2024, they were consolidated. There was a general bus for everyone to use. There were a ton of people waiting for the bus and lots of traffic.

Yes, consolidated area. Same bus for all rental cars. Not sure if it was American or SW.
Yikes! If it was SW--they are in terminal 1 (the first drop off point), so 45 mins just to get there (yikes!). (We might have to allow a little more time.... )

The Peoplemover is definitely delayed - should have opened beginning of 2025. Any time you are in a vehicle in the horshoe you should expect delays. Hate that place.
