Delay in Jan codes?

Since Disney once again extended the code for Nov/Dec to Dec 7th from Oct 18th- does this mean we have to wait until then to see what code will come out for Jan? I seriously can't wait until Mid Dec to plan a Jan trip.

I can't believe how many fall codes there are. Will there be that many for Jan?
Do they just keep sending them out every few weeks?

Hi all you Jan. Disers, according to Mousesavers the discount codes for January came out last year on Oct. 28 for Visa card holders, then 3 days later around Nov. 1 they came out for the general public. Of course you could get lucky and get a "personal" pin code at any time, but there does not seem to be any pattern on who or why some people get them and others do not, so I am not counting on receiving one. I think we still have a few more days to wait until (fingers crossed) the discounts code come out. If you haven't booked your room yet, you might want to consider booking a room only reservation then you can convert it to a package if and when a code comes out, and if not, you can cancel and change dates. I have read on these boards from numerous posters that 'waited" only to find the resort they really wanted all read ybooked. I hope we all get what we want and need. last year the rooms were discounted 15% and people got free park hoppers as an upgrade. This year, however, Disney has offered free dining during the Oct-Dec. timeframe which they have not done before, so maybe those of us with January dates will get lucky and they will sweeten the discount for us too. I am thinking positive

I like your thinking I'm waiting for Feb. so I hope January codes aren't delayed.

I agree with the PP who suggested to book a room only now and apply a code later. I just booked the other day and 2 of three places I checked were not available.

I've already booked by January package. If I pay in full, can I still use any new discounts that come out?

Yes, you can add discounts to already booked packages or rooms IF they have rooms left for those discounts. They only block so many, I guess for each hotel and package, so even though you have a room at a resort doesn't mean they'll have discount rooms at that resort. Confusing, I know! It's Disney's mean little game they play with us!! Gotta stay on your toes and ready!

We have a AAA discount (20%) for Jan. 10-17, but would love to get 40%. Still waiting..................
