defective toy replaced???

We got back from WDW on May 23rd. My 4 yr old ds spent his own money on a toy at Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney. It started acting weird while we were at the airport awaiting our departure flight. Now, it has all but quit working. Has anyone every had any experience trying to get a refund or replacement after leaving WDW?

I bought a watch at MGM last year and a month later the paint inside by the number 5 starting flaking off inside the glass. I found a form inside the packaging and sent it back. Within 2 weeks I had a brand new one. Well, about 2 months ago it did the same thing but I decided to forget about it, and maybe get a new one during one of our trips this year.

If you have the receipt or the receipt from your room charges, contact guest services and they may be able to help you.

In April, DD bought a Tinker Bell shirt with her own money atthe Main St Emporium. When we got home and I washed the shirt, one of Tink's wings came off. I emailed WDW Merchandise (the email address was right on the receipt). They asked me to fax a copy of the receipt along with my name, address, etc. I did and they sent a new shirt to DD right away.

Give them a call -- they will most likely replace it.

My ds got a die-cast monorail that he loved on a trip 3 years ago dd(1 at the time) broke it the week we got home. When we were there in November, I wanted to replace it for him. I went to the gift shop at POP and asked if they had them in stock. While he was checking, I mentioned that my son loved his until dd broke it right after we got home. He asked ds5 what color he wanted -- he said green. The CM went and got it off the shelf and handed it to ds and handed me a bag. I pulled out my card to pay, and he said "that's not necessary, it's all taken care off". They most definitely didn't have to do that since the item was broken by us -- no fault of theirs at all.
