Anyone ever sent back a defective Tervis Tumbler?

My daughter's FAVORITE cup, decorated with the colors/mascot of the college she plans to attend next year, which she received for her birthday, which she uses every single day, is messed up. It's a problem with the seal because the condensation is bad on the outside.

I found the necessary form online, but I'd like to hear how the process has gone for others.

Is this worthwhile? With a 20% coupon I could buy another tumbler at BB&B for less than $10, and I'm going to have to pay shipping.
Did your item come back quickly?

I'd probably send the defective one back AND buy a new one.

I have sent two back in the past year or so and the process is pretty quick and seamless, it took maybe 2 weeks, nowhere near the 4-6 the form states, although I'm sure there is a "busy season".

It is a downside that it costs about $4 to mail the broken tumbler back. I just put mine in a padded envelope. The good thing is that you can request the same design or pick out a new one, so even if you go to BBB and buy one to replace the design you have, for shipping costs, you can still pick out a new cup.

Since i am close to a Tervis store, I just walked in with my broken cup and they replaced it on the spot. I love their guarentee. In this case, I dropped mine in a parking lot and it cracked. They still replaced it.
