You sound like you are back on track. WTG! You have also identified a trigger. Those sweets. That is the first step in avoiding that triiger. Great job.

I did good last night. I snacked on string cheese. No cheating. I still feel good with the diet. I found a pizza recipe listed on this site, under deep dish pizza. I'm going to try and make that this weekend. I can't wait to try it. I'll go very light on the sauce to cut down on the carbs.

Todays menu:
Breakfast Sausage
Lunch Chicken salad
Snack cheese
Dinner: Up in the air again. I have to go to DMV right after work. So I'll be home late. I have nothing prepared at home, so this is another area that I slip up on. I might feel hungry and rushed and grab for something I shouldn't. So I'm going to pick up a Wendy's chicken BLT salad at lunch to eat for dinner. I hope this does the trick.

2 more days until weigh in. I feel good and my clothes fit better. I'm really going to try and stay on track.

I did good last night even though I really felt like cheating. I just left the kitchen and sat in the rec room, this way being around food wouldn't be so tempting. The family had pizza last night, and my salad was good but couldn't compare. Today I really feel like I'm coming down with a cold. I'm tired and my throat hurts. Work is very busy, so I'll make it through the day somehow.

Todays plan:

Breakfast Chicken salad--even though I had no appetite, I ate a little

Lunch String cheese and 2 pieces of healthy choice ham slices

Dinner-???? I still have nothing prepared at home. I don't even have any meat that I can grill. The kids can have soup & sandwiches. I have to go shopping. Maybe tonight, if I have an appetite, I'll stop at the Outback for takeout. Their Alice spring chicken is a great low carb dish. It's chicked with mushrooms bacon and cheese. I know these kids would enjoy Outback takeout too. So this is all up in the air.

Todays goal is to remain on program with no low carb snacks.

Dee, you can do it! You can get through today - we've only got about 12 more hours, right? Take it a little at a time and it'll fly by before you know it!

Today is day 14, so I weighed in today. I was 200 even. So I lost 8lbs. I thought I lost more, so I was a little dissapointed. But 8LBS is still very good for a two week period.
Last night I cooked up some stuff to have on hand. I made the dish seep pizza listed in the recipe section. It was good. A nice change. Next time I'm going to try and make it with a thinner crust, and I'll add pepperoni. I also made wings and sausage peppers and onions. This will help me get through the weekend.

todays plan:

Breakfast: 1 pieice of sausage
1 small piece of pizza

Lunch: Wings

Dinner: wings & pizza
Snack string cheese

Goal for this weekend, to walk at least 1 mile. Also, no low carb treats as they are my trigger.

Now next weekend I'm going to the Jersey shore for 5 nights. My mini goal was to be at 197 by 8/15. I would have to lose 3LBs this week. I will be so happy if I can lose this. But it will be hard. I'll really be happy just to get below the 200 mark.

Speaking of the shore, I have to make a game plan. We will be at Wildwood Nj. There is a big boardwalk with pizza shops, fudge shops, icecream, funnel cake, get the picture. This is going to be hard. Our hotel room does not have a kitchen. We plan to eat out. I don't want to undo all the good I've done. I have to get a plan.

I've really been tired. I don't know if it's from the cold I have or because I haven't been taking vitamins. But I have no energy. I've been going to sleep about 8 at night. And I'm still tired when I wake up in the AM. I didn't exercise this wekend. I just felt drained. I did walk 1/2 mile today even though I didn't feel like it.

Today's plan
Breakfast piece of sausage
Lunch Chicken salad
Dinner salad & philly cheesesteak

I'll go to sleep early tonight.

I lost it for 2 days. I was so exhausted after work and I didn't feel like cooking anything. I have two little boys at home, and I've been feeling like I spend so much time cooking and cleaning after work that I don't spend anytime with them. So we ordered pizza one night. The second night we had Mcdonalds. I felt like I just needed to give myself a break. I was able to play with my children afterwork. It's so hard working and running a household. my youngest is 20months old and he wants my total attention when I get home. That is hard to do when your busy cooking and cleaning. Today I started back up on Atkins. Since I feel like I need a break from meat, I started on the Atkins shakes.

So today I had a shake for breakfast, a shake for snack and 2 string cheeses and a shake for lunch. I have a bad case of heartburn for the first time in a long time from todays meals. Next time I'll stick to 1 shake a day. I just needed something different for today. Tommorrow I'll go back to meat & veggies.

We are going to the seashore this weekend. I will do allot of walking and bike riding. But I've decided to go off program for one small treat or meal a day. If I try to stay on program and cheat, I'll feel awful and go overboard with cheating. Maybe going into the vacation with a plan of moderation will help me keep controll. This is something new for me.
