Deed received before MA email is this normal?

Quick question closed on our first contract at VGF. today in the mail we received our recorded deed via snail mail. Still haven’t received our log in credentials from member administration in an email. Only been 10 days from closing but is this normal to get the deed before hearing from DVC? Anxious to make a reservation

These days, completely normal. MA is running with low staff due to budget/furloughs/etc.

For a resale purchase, the deed has to be recorded with the appropriate state/county entity before DVC will process the transfer of ownership. So, really nothing unusual about receiving a copy of the recorded deed before the transfer of ownership is done by DVC.
