Deed Question

Hello, we closed on a DVC resale contract early September. We have received our welcome packet, pin nos, and our membership cards just came.

I have not received an official Deed as yet. I assume that this is an official document to be sent to us by the County. Do you know where I can go to inquire as to why I have not received it? Or am I mistaken about something?

If it is not on line yet, it has probably not been recorded yet. If you closed in early September, it might take a bit longer yet to get to you. I remember mine all came in a couple of months.

We closed July, bought thru Disney and just got our deed last week.

Interesting. I found a copy of the Warranty Deed on there, which I already have a copy of that. Is that all that I will get then???

Somehow, I was expecting it to be a more official sort of document, more like a car title. Now that I think about it though, our state doesn't even issue those any longer.

The warrenty deed you received at closing is the only thing you'll receive. When you by direct from Disney, they always send back the recorded warrenty deed along with the title insurance.
