Does anyone know if all dedicated 2 BR's have 2 queens in the 2nd BR. If not, does anyone know specific room numbers that do have the 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom. Looked on parkinfo2go but I don't think the info is current since they still have the smoking rooms listed. haha. I guess DVC could also have changed the rooms out if they wanted/needed to when they refurb.
Thanks
Tina

BCV has 2 types of dedicated 2 BR's. One has 2 Q beds in the second room and the other has 1 Q bed and a sofa bed in the second room. This is a BOOKING category. The CM will tell you which you have when you book. Most owners book up the 2Q beds before the 7 month and it's not easy to get the 2Q bed reservation. I've managed once at the 7 month window out of 3 years in a row of going mid-August. One year I had a dedicated, 1Q w/sofabed reserved, but was surprised when I openned the door to find 2Q beds instead. I think I was in 104 and also 304. (not positive on the room numbers.)

We just had a dedicated 2 bedroom with the 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom - we loved it. I booked it about 9 months out for our May trip, and on the reservation, it said 2 queen beds - dedicated. I think our room number was 530 - we had a large balcony and a view of the eiffel tower at EPCOT.

Thanks n2mm! Our home is BCV so I would try to book at 11 months. I really would prefer the 2 queens in the 2nd BR. Our group would be all adults so one less sofabed would be great. We always request the first floor quiet pool view in a 1 BR and so far have always gotten it. (prob because NO ONE seems to request the first floor!) Now we want to try a 2 BR. That's why I was inquiring about specific room numbers.

We alredy booked for next May and have a dedicated 2 bed/2 queens. I requested uppor floor with large balcony. Fingers crossed I get your unit! Was the view of Epcot very good? Could you see illuminations well? One other note - was it a non-HA room? We'll have 3 little ones with us and them being able to get on/off the toilet is pretty important. :yay: I understand the ones in the HA rooms are considerably higher.

TIA!! :woohoo::goodvibes

It was not a HA room. We could not see Illuminations from our balcony - the fireworks were behind an adjoining roof. We could see the Eiffel tower, and Tower of Terror and woods from our balcony. I think you have to be on the quiet pool side to see Illuminations. It was a great room, and we would love to have it again sometimes!

That still sounds wonderful!! I wouldn't mind a woods view and be able to see some of Epcot. Seems more private and peaceful to me than overlooking a pool where everyone can see you, not to mention the noise. :eek: Illuminations would be nice to see, but I hear differing opinions on here as to just how well you really can see them. Thanks for the feedback!! I know I'm 10 months out from my vacation but I just can't wait!!!!:banana:

Here is the link to a map of the rooms at BCV. I think it is accurate for the most part but we stayed last month in rooms 302 & 304 and bothhad 2 beds in the 2nd room. This is not shown on the map. I love the BCV!! Can't wait to go back in November!:banana:

I don't believe Disney can change room configurations in a refurb. 2Q/not-2Q is determined by the physical size of the room... IIRC, the 2Q rooms are a few inches bigger allowing the extra bed - the balcony is also different somehow. So the park-info map shouldn't go "out of date," but of course the info might not have been perfect in the first place.
