Does anyone know if there are any dedicated 2 BR villas on the first floor at BCV facing the pool? Park info 2 go does show some but want to make sure. Also, the configuration of room 134 and 154 look "cut-up". Has anyone stayed in these specific rooms?
Thanks,
Tina

I was in 334 - a dedicated 2 BR facing the pool - great room. We had 2 balconies, one off the LR and one off the master.

Yes the room configuration is different there as it is on a bend in the hallway. That room has a queen and a sofa bed in the 2nd bedroom instead of 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom. It does not feel "cut-up" in anyway, IMO.

I'm sure 134 would be exactly the same except for the balconies, obviously.

Here's a link to some photos - the ones toward the end are of 334 and they are all marked 2 BR on the titles. The earlier ones are a 1 BR which I think was 372.

You're welcome! I was looking at them when I was getting the link for you and I felt the exact same way! We were just there again in January in a 1 BR on the 3rd floor and I miss it already!

There are dedicated two bedrooms on the first floor facing the pool, but none that have 2 queens in the bedroom.

134, has the entrance to the second bedroom in the living room near the sliding door, making the room seem smaller and if you open the sofa bed, the people in the second bedroom can not get out. There is no foyer in this room, like the other two bedrooms.

I did not like that room.

That does describe our 334 room (but I really liked it) but we weren't using the sofa bed that trip so I never considered that problem. Just curious - I guess the connecting door in the other 2 BRs is in the entry way where the closet is in the x34 series of rooms? But I don't understand the "no foyer" comment -- it did still have the entry way and table like the other BCV rooms we have been in. I didn't notice any meaningful difference.

We were in 534 in October. We too had a small foyer and I did not notice a difference there.
It was our first stay in a dedicated 2 bedroom. I didn't make any request for dedicated or lockoff and we were happy with either.
What I did notice was that the second bedroom had a "huge" area in front of the vanity area near the closet. I think this woudl be where the entry to the hall and the kitchenette would have been (we had neither) I remember thinking it would be perfect for a pack n play, it was a bit removed from the main part of the room. In our case it seemed to be wasted space.
I didn't really like the door to the second bedroom being off the living room either. I felt that that bedroom had less privacey than if it had been in the entryway.
We had a total of 3 balconies. One off the 2nd bedroom, one off the living room and one off of the Master bedroom.
The configuration was definitely different. I wouldn't request that room, but I would not be really unhappy if I got it again.

Because we used to use the pull out sofa in the LR every night (we are family of 6, but older kids do not want to sleep together), we used to request the layout with the door to 2nd BR in the foyer, along with the 2 queens in that 2nd BR. I think DVC has a name for each layout, like A, B, C, etc or something like that.

We use that large open area in 2nd BR, if we have it, for an Aerobed..... like I said, the kids want to spread out in their own beds!
